Delivery Time
We keep you informed
Shortly after you place your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details, including shipping and delivery estimates for each item. Once your item has prepared for shipment and ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information.
You can visit our store online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to view the most up-to-date status of your order.
Shipping and delivery estimates
The 'shipping timeframe is an estimate of when the item will prepare for shipment and ship from our warehouse. The items on your order will ship as they become available.
Items that ship within "24 hours" are estimated to ship the same or following business day.
Items with longer estimates ship from our warehouse within the timeframe indicated (e.g., 7-10 business days).
Custom-configuring your System or personalizing your System may take additional time to prepare for shipment, and will increase the shipping timeframe.
The delivery timeframe is an estimate of when the item will be delivered to your shipping address after it ships. The estimated delivery date depends on the shipping method you choose during checkout.
When you select expedited shipping, your item will take the same amount of time to prepare for shipment (Shipping), but will expedite the time it takes to deliver to your doorstep (Delivery).
All estimates are based on business days.
Shipping Methods and Costs
Shipping methods
The GIS Store offers a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs:
Standard Shipping — This option is free on all qualifying products, except products that weigh more than 40 pounds or orders under $500. Delivers within 6 business days after shipping.
2 Day Shipping — Delivers within 2 business days after shipping.
2-3 Day International Shipping — Delivers within 2 to 3 business days after shipping.
Next Business Day — Delivers within 1 business day after shipping.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you complete your order on the GIS Store. You can also see shipping costs on the Order Acknowledgment email and on online. If you order multiple items, you may receive separate shipments. You will receive a Shipment Notification email for each shipment with the carrier's name and tracking information, if available. Shipping fees for the entire order will be charged when your first item is shipped.
Signature on Delivery
Once your order has prepared for shipment or has shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address.
Most of our shipments contain valuable items, so our carriers may be required to obtain a signature upon delivery. For a U.S. order that requires a signature on delivery, GIS offers several easy options for you to receive your package. Please note that the carrier makes three delivery attempts before returning your package to GIS.
If you will not be available for one of the delivery attempts, sign the Delivery Notice and leave it on your door prior to the next delivery attempt.
Shipping Restrictions
Shopping in the U.S.
The GIS Store ships items only within the 50 United States. No shipments can be made to PO Box addresses, United States territories, or addresses outside of the United States. You may not export any products purchased at the GIS Store.
The GIS Store does not support shipping items in a single order to multiple shipping addresses. To ship items to an additional address, please place a new order at the GIS Store
Sales to U.S. territories
We are happy to ship your order to a friend or family member residing within the 50 United States if your billing address is within one of the following United States territories:

Simply shop at the GIS Store with the payment method of your choice, and we'll ship the order to any address within the 50 United States.
We regret that we cannot ship orders placed on the GIS Store to addresses outside of the 50 United States without payment being received via wire transfer - please call our offices at 1-800-792-5020 or 619-421-2339 to place orders outside the U.S.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the website. We encourage you to periodically review the website Privacy Policy to inform yourself of any changes. The revised Privacy Policy will be effective on the date it is posted unless the revised policy states otherwise. If you use the website after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy, we will conclude that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
